"I purchased these socks on the advice of a friend. Well, she is now my BEST friend! haha Just kidding she always was my best friend. But I can't rave about these socks enough! I am a diabetic and have severe neuropathy in my feet and legs. I never wore socks because they would bind up on my toes and since my toes are numb most of the time, it was a danger to my circulation. I also swell a lot in my feet and lower legs, these socks don't cut into my skin from being too tight yet they stay where I put them!
I ordered a size larger thinking I would eliminate the too tight binding right off. I didn't need to do that since they are very generous in the toe. Somehow they figured out how to make the sock stay snug enough to stay put but not bind! They ticked every box for me!
They are incredibly soft, comfortable, don't bind and don't cut into my legs. I am going to order more! I have several so-called "diabetic socks" in my drawer that did not deliver on their promises, these did! As of next week I am emptying my sock drawer into the trash and will refill with these socks!"

"Just a few quick notes on the Silky Toes Cotton Dress Socks I purchased for the holidays. I admit, I haven't worn the socks, but, after all, they're not for me. But my daughter, a physical therapist, swears by them for their expert construction and comfort. She thinks the world of this company and specifically asked for these socks as her Christmas gift. Knowing her, she researched the company and expressed admiration for their product, and, knowing how meticulous she is, I have every confidence that the socks will be exactly what she expects. I highly recommend the company and its products."

"Purchased the size 10-13 and these are perfect for my women's 11 foot size. At first, it seemed the socks would be too long and the heel would be up toward my ankle, but after wearing for a couple of hours, the knitted fabric sort of adjusted to my foot and everything was good. These have enough lycra in them to stay up and do not bind my ankles (although I do not have enlarged ankles) and they're perfect for traveling for long car/plane rides when your feet/ankles tend to get a bit puffy. A big plus is that these are a true crew length and not too short. The socks have a tight, fine knit and are perfect for dress shoes, or shoes that have a close fit. I would not recommend them for athletic shoes -- you'd need a bulkier, cushiony sock for those."
My Two Cents -
"Feels great, not too tight, but they do shrink a little when put in the dryer on low heat. Not a problem for me."

"I am not diabetic but do have large calves. Regular socks bind my lower leg. These are great. They stay in place with no binding."

"These socks are great because they fit! I have a drawer full of socks bought in the "correct size" that fit like child's socks. I was unsure whether to order the size 9-11 or the larger size because of my past experience with tight socks. Ordered the 9-11 and they are fine. I wear an 8 1/2 dress shoe and and 9 1/2 athletic shoe with socks."

"Amazing soft socks. I am not diabetic but am picky about my socks being soft and non-binding. These wash well too. Just as sofft after washing and drying. Quality product."

"My feet are in princess feet heaven. My feet can't tolerate seems,,, it makes the area of the foot the seem is on burn in pain after a short while. I have no discomfort with these socks.
Also, the band at the top does not bind. It has a nice even elastic fee.
Very comfortable.
They make a nice moderate to thin sock.
Now to find out if this company makes a comparable thicker sock."

"These socks are very comfortable. I am not diabetic, but I hate toe seams. No matter what you do, the seam always works its way around into the most painful position. These socks have no seams, are very soft, and were great to wear."

"AT LAST comfortable socks that are long enough above the ankle. I'm not concerned about toe seams although these socks are constructed to be irritation-free as advertised. What is especially appealing is their height up my calf so i don't look like a dufus when my jeans rise as when sitting. The fiber is indeed soft and the vertically ribbed calf portion is nonbinding on my rather hefty legs. In the past I've bought socks that LOOK like they're sufficiently tall only to see them arrive looking like children's footwear in real life. These socks are made for adults. I wear women's size 8 shoes and the medium (not large) size socks fit well; I'd judge they will also work for people with much larger feet than mine, and for people with somewhat smaller feet than mine. I also appreciate the very high cotton content. The socks are just the right consistency. Not flimsy, seethrough thin nor shoe-stretchingly thick.I plan to buy more of these in the future."

"The Silky Toes Diabetic Premium Soft Non-Binding Cotton Dress Sock ware smoothly with no pinching or tightness. The color was ok, but wish it was a darker, midnight blue. Back to the socks: I've been wearing them for a few days and want to reach for them regardless of what I'm wearing but I can't do that. Maybe I'll look for this sock in other colors but they are comfirtable and great wearing. Thanks Silky Toes!"

"I don't have diabetes, but do get pressure marks and hoped these would solve the problem. Unfortunately, while they are gentler than regular socks, they still leave a pressure mark. Evidently, I hold fluid. I did what someone else suggested and cut the very top elastic and they are now fine."

"This purchase was a pleasant surprise. I have difficulty with fitting a women's size eleven with wiggle room in the toe. These fit nicely. The mid-calf length is perfect for trousers. Although I have large calves they seemed to fit fine and were non-binding. The material is lightweight and very comfortable. I only took off one star because the calf did roll down a bit with activity. That could be just me, however...I am difficult to fit. Overall a great purchase. I ordered the queen size and will be purchasing more."

"The socks are very comfortable and soft, BUT... labeling them as "diabetic" is a bit misleading, because they still have that awful, way-too-tight, constricting elastic thread at the top. Anyone with diabetes or a tendency to have swollen ankles would still have problems with wearing them. Even though it is moderately easy to solve this problem by removing the elastic (actually several strands) by picking them loose with a dull needle & then pulling them out, one shouldn't have to do this in order to get the promised benefits. There is no reason to put elastic threads in the top, they stay up just fine without it. That said, they are very nice socks once fixed, with a good length. Do wish they came in more colors though."

"Bought these for mom who has diabetes and neuropathy, especially for the seamless toe. Overall they seem to be comfortable for her. Disappointed that the toe has something like a seam at the end of the toes and each side of the toe has the extra threads that create a "lump" of material, which I really didn't want for her as others help her dress each day. I'll keep them but will continue to look for socks without those extra threads by the little and big toes. In mom's words, "They're not smooth near my toes.""

"These socks have elastic at the top - exactly what I didn't want. I didn't even bother to take them out of the package since I know the elastic will leave dents in my legs. Back they go."
