I found out many years ago that very thin synthetic socks such as these are very comfortable for hiking and either alone or wearing double pairs will protect my feet from any blisters while hiking 100%. The sock are so thin and slippery that they protect from abrasion and blisters, especially if two pairs are worn at a time. I have about 12 pairs of these so I always have plenty on hand for a long hike. It seems counter-intuitive that such thin socks would be good for preventing blisters, and I have not seen many others touting socks like these for hiking and running, but they work great.I used to buy another brand, but these 80% Rayon, 10% Polyester, 5% Nylon, 5% Spandex sock are perfect for hiking and they have a nice texture pattern on the shin part. At $4.67 a pair there is also no less expensive solution to good hiking socks that I can find. Forget the expensive and bulky wool socks that cost more for single pair of socks than these do for 3 pair and wear out quickly.

Have been buying Silky Toes socks for several year, because they are so soft and the seam doesn’t bother the toes. Sock seams are a problem in this house from the youngest to oldest. We loved these socks until this last order. (Ordered same sock month before and they were what we expected)However, when I reordered the same socks, they were different - much thinner. They do have the stretch and soft quality after I washed them, but because these were not as thick, you could feel the seam. So they are still a nice sock if you don’t mind the seam. Wish I could get the thicker ones again.****Update: ordered again a different style, and I was pleased that I received the thicker sock. :)

Liked everything, received on time, the quality and soft comfort is the best value for the money!

I bought these socks about 10 months ago and liked them so much I bought more in another color. Initially I was reluctant to buy these socks partly because I used to buy thicker socks and partly because I knew nothing about the fabric. I am glad I overcame my initial reluctance.Due to health problems my feet sometimes swell to the point I occasionally can't put on my shoes. These sock stretch when my feet are swollen without losing their shape and elasticity. They wear well, are very comfortable, look good, stay up, hold their shape, and have held up well after many washings. I highly recommend them Even for those who typically buy thicker socks.

Comfortable, cheap and vibrant. No complaints.
